YES!!
im glad because you know...i can actually play in the games when i'm on JV. if i was on varsity...i'd play 5 minutes per game most likely. however, i am very proud of miss stephanie nguyen for making varsity!! it's going to be sad because i won't be able to practice with her anymore =( i have to go to practice in about 25 minutes and its a monday...which means only one thing...RUNNING. we are going to have to run x2847489614861 because we didnt run very much on friday. is there a heat advisory? because that'd be excellent. my stomach is all butterflies.
on a lighter note...CONSIE IS ON TONIGHT! YESSSS. like my icon? ;)

...field hockey tryouts. thank you... so much ...we had to run a mile which isnt bad at all; except for the fact that i couldnt breathe because my nose is all stuffed up. my bad! and then...sprints aka SUICIDES. holy lord those were brutal. 3 of them too.
... and now i can't walk anymore. YES! haha
so anyways, i had a lovely dream the other night. i was walking in the National Gallery of Art with my grandma and mom, through their nice little cafeteria section. I see a line of people crowding someone and ...GASP...its CONAN O'BRIEN! so i freak out and get into the line and when its my turn, i scream and basically knock the guy down hugging him. he says "hey you, want to be my new sidekick?" and i say "yes!" and then i am conan's new sidekick on his show. me and consie become THE BEST OF FRIENDS and i go to live with him and his family in NYC. The End.
LOLOLOL I HAVE THE WEIRDEST DREAMS, I HOPE THIS ONE IS AN OMEN.

This original version of "These boots are made for walking" is 10 times better than the ripoff one jessica simpson made. BOO YA.

Hello there.
...well that was quite an interesting experience.
So...my dad and I went to the DMV today to go get my permit. PERMIT!! it was extremely exciting. i got there...there was a line to get info...took about 5 minutes. not bad. so i got a form, filled it out, and waited. waiting, waiting, waiting. we waited for about an hour and a half when a comforting message came to us:
"It has come to our attention that the Social Security Administration's system is down and we cannot confirm any more social security numbers until the system is back online."
...O_O. thank you... so much.
so then, we decided to wait it out, because maybe it might come back on? well, i got to take my test, which i passed (yessss extremely happy about that) but...i can't get my picture taken/get my permit until my SSN is verified. so we waited for about 3 hours...and the system never got back on. so we left.
-___- now i'm going back on...wednesday to get my permit.
...stupid social security administration.

SHIT!!!!!! i just wrote such a long entry and i accidentally pressed the fucking X! god dammit. #$%^&*#$%^&@#$%^&!!!!
alright..
i'll do this again.
It's finally July! Memorable days of July so far:
3,4,5.
Here we gooo...
July third--Beach with Stephanie. It was a day trip, but it still was SO FUN. it's a tradition. Highlights:
- Making an "Ecosystem": we caught a real crab (but super tiny), a sand crab and a HERMIT CRAB!?! i loved that hermit crab...i apparently tortured it? haha. poor hermie. later in the day it started to look pale and dying so i threw it back into the ocean. hermit crabs are love.
- High tide...ALL DAY!! Yessssss. I love high tide. Even though I got knocked over a couple times and also swallowed two big gulps of ocean water...haha. STILL! so awesome.
- Pictures: Stephanie and I took so many pictures. We took our traditional "sitting back to back" picture and just tons of crazy ones that are sure to be embarassing. yeah, we're cool.
July fourth-- Independence Day! Well, it started off pretty bad...I had to go to some stupid neighborhood parade my grandma was invited to...I had to wake up at 8:30...hello. thanks. yeah, the parade lasted a whopping 5 MINUTES...wow. then we had to sit through awards which were basically all for the little kids of the neighborhood...they were like "Best Stripes" and "Coolest Red White and Blue Roller Blades"...lol. hot. then there was a picnic, or lack thereof. the burgers tasted like cardboard--YES! later however, my sister, her boyfriend and I went to George Mason High to watch the fireworks. we went on a parking garage roof to watch them, which was really cool because we were right under them and it was really beautiful. but at the end there was a mad rush to get out of the garage which hilarious because everyone was sprinting to their cars(including me). what? I don't want to wait in traffic either.
July fifth-- AAAHAHAHA. funniest night..ever. i went to a DONNA SUMMER concert with my mom, my aunt and my aunt's two friends. DONNA SUMMER?! all disco songs, with all these middle aged screaming. there was a row of 4 men sitting there, and one of them kept getting up at every song and dancing, shaking his ass. gay? probably. then there was some guy who looked like Sayhid from the show "Lost" ...and he kept SCREAMING at the top of his lungs at every single thing she said. good lord. it was frickin hilarious. those crazy 40-somethings.
WOOWOO!!! I FINISHED IT!

oh. my. god.
i went to go see War of the Worlds today...and it was SO gory. can i go throw up now? ew. freaking blood pouring out of every spaceship...intestines EVERYWHERE...i'm pretty sure i have wrinkles on my forehead because i had my face scrunched up the whole time. it was a good movie with the special effects and cinematography...but there wasn't much of a plot. or maybe i'm just retarded?

woo!! SCHOOL. IS. FINALLY. OUT. summer '05 is here!!
friday: p2 was SOO MUCH FUN!!!!! i'll get to that later.
before the pool--- two of the haughs, mary kate, bill and steven dungan came over, and we played kemps, which me and daniel were AMAZING AT, and then we played "kick the can" and i kicked the can once! boo ya. then we walked/ran our little butts down to the pool because apparently we were late (!) so there was a lot of stress. but when we got there, it all calmed down. the party was better than i expected it to be. highlights: ordering 5 pizzas...playing basketball and sinking almost all the shots...flipping off the diving board and basically breaking by back because of course i land on it...tea parties...tanning...pushing people such as BILL into the pool...syncronized(sp?) diving... oh man, good times.
saturday: went to potomac mills. got some good stuff there.
-- khakis, green jacket=forever 21
-- university of maryland hoodie, duke long sleeve=steve and barrys.
today: went to the pool again with stephanie and jale. it was "flip day"...-___-. wow. well, i stalled for most of the day because i was too scared to attempt a flip, but finally i got the courage and did it. and guess what? I DID IT RIGHT!! i was SO happy. then we were screaming at jale the whole day to do flips...and she finally did a flip...landed on her back. then she did THREE MORE and landed on her back EACH TIME. we were basically on the ground laughing. we tried to play basketball and these 20 year olds came and tried to hit on us, so we left.
korean guy: so how old are you?
us: ...15...
him: WHOA! you look like you're 12! not that it's a bad thing...
....wow. there are so many things wrong with that.
then later his friend: so i dont have to refer to you as girl 1, girl 2, and girl 3, what are your names?
us: O_O...uhhh...
(we go and discuss our plan of action)
me: i'm lauren.
jale: i'm rebecca.
stephanie: i'm florence.
LOL! FLORENCE!!?!?! totally ruined THAT one.
him: are you giving me fake names...because that hurts *clutches chest*
then we got outta there. thank god my mom was at the pool. lol!

lalala, hello all.
here's my four day weekend:
friday: went to see star wars with my dad.
saturday: went to the field hockey car wash....oh my goodness. for some reason, we got all the richest cars possible---cadillac escalade, lexus, about 3 BMW's, 2 mercedes, a corvette, 2 mustangs...damn, son. haha
sunday: went to poplar heights with stephanie, steven and jale. fun times, stephanie brought her digital camera and we took some pictures...ie: me, stephanie and jale doing different jumps into the pool... "candid" photos of us looking at magazines, eating, tanning...me and stephanie doing different poses....they were pretty good. too bad she doesnt have the damn cable to put the pictures on the internet O____O. later, my family, me, my aunt and her friend, my old babysitter (family friend) and our second cousin (my first babysitter, family friend) had a barbeque ...i dont exactly know why? but apparently it was for my old babysitters birthday. we had burgers, chicken...and thai food. yeeeea. then mint chocolate chip ice cream cake!! yummy.
today: finished my english essay, yess. then stephanie came over and we just hung out. the usual: eating, watching tv, chillaxing.

hello...there.
havent updated since...sunday? im not sure. well....this week has been endless, since it was still SOL testing...that crazy schedule. today i got to spend 4 hours in ART...oh joy. after a while it gets boring, you know? but im quite proud...since i think i finished every project she threw at us and all my other projects from other units that i never got to finish. HA! i really think that woman hates me. hopefully my C will get raised to a B? hmm, let's hope.
well, we have a FOUR DAY WEEKEND!! yessssss. thank god we didn't waste all our snow days. i've always liked the summer more than the winter. the only thing that can put a damper on my spirits to the FOUR DAY WEEKEND (!) is the fact that i have a lacrosse banquet tonight. i have no desire to be there. just the fact that our captains decided to get a "spa kit" for the coach who sucked makes me annoyed. they asked for TEN dollars! TEN DOLLARS! what in the?! even in field hockey, where i loved the coach, we only had to contribute two dollars. god. our coach was NEVER there...she missed maybe..half the practices, and basically 3/4 of the games because of being "sick" or having a "family reunion"? if you knew these things were coming up, you shouldn't have taken the job. the only thing that balances it out is the fact that she was nice.
wow i'm really being miss rant girl today. O_________o...even though i'm actually really happy. i think i'm happy because im listening to stellar. this song is so lovely.

well, today, we went "strawberry picking"...O_O. wow. of course to our luck, the fields were CLOSED....thank you. instead we got to look at charming farm animals that looked like they'd be taken to the meat factory soon because they looked like they were dying...the cows are sprawled out, tongues lolling out of their mouths...the lambs eyes won't even OPEN and its groveling at food... X___X. however, we did get to see a peacock with it's feathers out which was really beautiful. there were some emu's there too which were pretty cool even though it growled at me like a freaking dinosaur. haha 8)
